    Laura Scrimgeour M.D. is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Brown University Health. She completed a fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Structural and Endovascular Cardiac Surgery. Prior to her training at the Brigham, Dr. Scrimgeour trained in cardiac surgery at UCSF. She completed her medical school at the University of Colorado and her general surgery residency at Brown University. Dr. Scrimgeour has extensive research experience in chronic myocardial ischemia and stem cell therapies as well as in diabetes treatment and management.
